How A Unique Hotel Experience Can Enhance Your Next Event & Grow Your Company’s Bottom Line

Taking event attendees out of their usual environment promotes creativity. Creativity leads to innovation and that is exactly what a company leader wants to see.

When a company innovates they are more likely to see an increase in revenue. It's our job at OCMG to provide opportunities for your employees and senior leaders to thrive. One way to do that is to introduce them to a new and unique environment that boosts imagination.

Saint Kate is the perfect example.

This boutique hotel located in the heart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was named one of the Top 10 Best New Hotels by USA Today.

Why?

Because it's the first of its kind. It's an Art Hotel.

What's that? You ask.

Read on to discover a world you never knew existed.

When Art Collides with Function

The space engages all five of your senses and exposes your inner creativity. The sophisticated guest rooms are adorned with record players, ukuleles, and carefully sourced art. In the lobby, guests will find a fully stocked library filled with additional records to explore the musical sounds of the past and present.

There are even rooms called The Canvas Rooms. These are 5 rooms which are given to local artists as blank slates. Each eccentric outcome is for guests to come and explore. What is more, each time a guest checks into one of The Canvas Rooms, a portion of the proceeds go toward a charity fund which supports the local artist community in Milwaukee.

Living & Breathing Art

As you walk the halls of the hotel you are greeted by art galleries, exhibitions, and performances in the Arc Theatre.

Every Tuesday through Saturday they have live performances in their bar. These performances range from a solo singer to a full-on jazz band. On any given day of the week, the hotel is graced with pop up performances by violinists and dancers from Danceworks. Additionally, there is an in-house artist that guests can always stop by and see what she’s up to. You never know what you are going to see at Saint Kate!

Luxury is in Each Detail

No detail is spared at Saint Kate. As you are checking in, you are greeted with a glass of champagne and each floor has a premium coffee station expertly stocked with everything you need to keep yourself caffeinated throughout the day.

Even their bars of soap are art. They are made to look like an old fashioned eraser that you probably used as a kid in elementary school.

Tech Savvy

They even have their own app!

Curated with an eye toward Midwestern artists, the art collections at Saint Kate - the Arts Hotel in Milwaukee include established and emerging artists recognized on both the national and international stages.

The Saint Kate Art Tour app turns your phone into your own personal tour guide: immerse yourself in our visual art collections both visually and audibly while learning more about the works and the creators who made them.

Feast Your Eyes on This!

We need to take a moment to honor the food at Saint Kate. Their bar and restaurants are always packed with locals and there is a good reason for that.

There is something for everyone with five different restaurants and bars on campus.

the Bar... yes, that is the name of the bar, is inspired by the turn-of-the-century gathering places of artists in locations like SoHo, Prague, or Cabaret Voltaire.

Happy Hour is Saint Kate's champagne and wine bar. It has a light and airy, whimsical feel similar to what your head feels like after a few champagne bubbles ;)
